Versatile and highly maneuverable, personnel carriers keep things moving
Ever need to grab some inventory from the other side of your 200,000 sq. ft. distribution center? It could be a long walk or inefficient use of a forklift. That’s where a class of industrial utility vehicles known as personnel carriers and stock chasers, can greatly improve the efficiency of your warehouse or distribution center.
Here’s a breakdown of vehicle types and applications:
Personnel Carriers
Personnel carriers are cost-effective, highly maneuverable vehicles designed to expedite worker travel throughout the warehouse. They can also be used for ferrying equipment, supplies, and tools towing carts or other wheeled equipment. They’re also great as a mobile maintenance department.

Stock Chasers
Stock chasers are stand-up, electric-powered vehicles that feature a deck for carrying inventory, tools or equipment. The decks top out at about 12.5 sq. ft. in size and 1,200 lbs in carrying capacity. They have an operator backrest that also functions as a ladder, generally with 4 to 6 steps to allow warehouse operators to pick goods from higher racks or shelves. With top speeds of up to 9 mph, they can quickly zip inventory from place to place in a warehouse, and have a very tight turning radius that makes them easily maneuverable in a narrow aisle distribution center.
Burden Carriers

Burden Carriers are a great option if you need to increase your capacity to move people and products. They offer bench seating, more deck space and towing capacity for those big jobs. If you need to move people around for plant tours or inspections, check out the Titan XD Electric which seats up to 4 people! These versatile vehicles are an efficient option for any number of tasks in your warehouse.
Tow Carts

Tow Carts are great for lugging. They can be hitched up to carts or wheeled equipment and have towing capacity of up to 5,000 lbs. They come in various configurations – stand-up or sit-down, and allow the driver to remain in front of the load.
